Akagera National Park

Akagera National Park is Rwanda’s only savannah reserve and the largest protected wetland in Eastern-Central Africa. Located in eastern Rwanda along the Tanzanian border, the park covers 1,122 km² of diverse landscapes, including rolling highlands, open plains, and a complex system of lakes and papyrus swamps.
