Nyungwe National Park

Nyungwe National Park is one of Africa’s oldest rainforests and a UNESCO World Heritage site located in southwestern Rwanda. Spanning 1,019 km², it is the largest remaining montane rainforest in Rwanda and serves as a vital watershed between the Nile and Congo River basins. The park is managed through a long-term partnership between the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and the conservation nonprofit African Parks.
